Default Outside Front Fairing Chrome?

Ok, yes, sometimes I have chromeitis. But today when waxing my front fairing I noticed how ugly the black vent opening was in the middle of this beautifully painted fairing. I went on HD parts and looked and cannot for the life of me find anything to 'pretty' that up. Does anyone know of anything? Thanks.

IMO, the OEM vent looks better than the plastic chrome vent. Most riders I have spoken with feel the same way.

Chromed plastic bling is a detraction in my mind. Metric cruisers are usually covered with it.

And black plastic nothing that traps the paste wax, is, imho, worse than chrome bling.

A detail brush should take care of that. Or mask before waxing and buffing.
