Yes, it makes an incredible difference. After making the mistake of running the shortys on a long rural trip I decided that in the city I will keep my short ones on the bike. When I take my long trips I am putting the long ones back on. A small hassle is worth not having those whips on all the time.


Side note, I bought the multiband Kuryakyn shortys before buying the Booms ones. The Kuryakyns found their way into the trash.
