Default Boom box help

Anybody on this site from the Pittsburgh pa. area? Do you know a dealer that is good with the boom box. I'm having problems and steel city Harley has no idea what they're doing. Any help would be enormously appreciated.

ok, one problem is that the speed volume control doesn't work. i've taken it to them twice and they say there's nothing they can find. so i say then get me a new unit. they started by saying that they couldn't do that. nice, huh? i'll go elswhere. i do have a question for all of you who have a working SVC. when it automatically adjusts is it also visual in that the volume indicating bar on the screen moves up and down?

The SVC problem is software related. Some work and some do not.
The volume bar does not change as you speed up and the volume increases.
I am running software version 1.17.5 and it works just fine, but you will find many on here that are having problems with the SVC

AVC issue is common. No fix for it, so don't expect your dealer to replace your radio; next unit will be the same. AVC "kind of" works at lower volumes. If you like your tunes loud, don't expect AVC to work. Just the way it is.

Next issue?

Maybe you need to turn AVC on? Only works with speakers, not headphones.

You would be surprised at the things you read in here. But then you obviously don't read in here or you would not have asked those questions.
