I'm a little surprised that there is only one response on here with the FM exhaust pipes!? FM seems to get very good reviews on this site and I spoke via e-mail with them about purchasing a complete new exhaust system with the SS 2-1-2 header.

Is it because most people buy what's available at the local HD dealership and what they can hear?

I like to support the smaller businesses that put so much into their customer service such as FM does and their dedication to making an outstanding product.

 

Threw a set of CFR Knockoffs on my bike to replace my yellow'd out Big Louies....

.....They sound neat, but having owned the real CFR's, they aren't the same. Im back on the wait list for a set of CFR's again.

I had a 2010 Limited with the FM SS 2-1-2 pipes, Stage 1 A/C, and FM 4" Jackpot Slash Down Mufflers and PC-5 with the FM 107" kit. When I was trading this bike in for a 2014 Limited I was interested in the SE Cannons until the dealer started a bike with the SE Cannons. I felt it was too muted. granted I don't enjoy too loud of an exhaust but I wanted what I had on my 2010 Limited. I went back to Fuel Moto and got the FM 2-1-2 Ceramic, FM 4" Jackpot Slash Up, FM Pro Billet A/C, and PV-2, The sound is great and good power with the stock displacement and cams.

V&H head pipes with 4" Rinehart rounds. BUT....if I had to do it again, I would go back to American Custom exhaust. I had those on my 12 'Glide and loved them. Priced right, too. What I did was go hang out at a HD shop and listen to them when they rolled in.

Hey Motordad! Is your bike put up for the winter yet? I'd love to hear your bike in person. I just picked up a '15 Limited & am leaning towards a FM package in the spring. I live over by Beaver Dam....
