Ever since I updated the BoomBox to 1.18.1, on the FLHX that has the 4.3 standard radio, I have many problems. I cannot find anywhere (yet) where I can download 1.17.4 (or 1.17.5) to put this back to how it was on the bike. I noticed the screen update faster, however, I have many other little problems that I cannot withstand any longer.

Where can I download the BoomBox 1.17.4 or 1.17.5 file again?

My dealer told me .18.5 is coming out 5 Oct.......Not sure if this is true or not just rumor to date.

 

Hopefully that update will fix problem rather than cause more problems. I'd just like to put the BoomBox back to 1.17.4 or 1.17.5. Since my FLHX came with one of those two versions, I do not have the original version to put back on the bike.

 

I also had issues with the 1.18.1 and during the recent 15K service on my bike the dealer reloaded the 1.17.5. Those new problems associated with the 1.18.1 are now gone.
I won't hold my breath waiting on a system wide fix for all of the problems different owners have encountered. The MOCO needs to hire some professional software developers...

Curious, what issues are you having with the .18? Other then the zoom thing first time you zoom in or out (the screen zooms all the way in) I haven't noticed any difference, what have you found? I have the .17 saved and if the 2 versions are that different I'll go back to the .17. Thanks!
