When I went in for brake recall, I asked Dealer to load 1.18.1.That solved all My problems with 1.18.1.

 

Dealer installed the .18 on my limited. Lost the ability to shuffle tracks on the jump drive using the toggle switch. Dealer reset to original software, seems to work now.

 

That is not a problem of the software update. It is a simple setting that needs to be reset in the menus after the update is done.

 

I no longer have maps after the latest for my FLHXS. Thanks for the links.

***Edit: I have the FLHXS. It has the 6.5GT system. There are 6.5GT Premium updates, Premium CVO updates.

Use the Premium update. I had the same issue. Went to 18.1 and my GPS was just a green screen with motorcycle driving around it. Reinstalled 17.4 and I'm good again.

 

On the GPS I had problems with time to destination, miles to destination, time to next turn, miles to next turn, display showed right turn next yet voice direction indicated I turn left, and zoom in, among others. None of those were apparent when I switched back to the 1.17.5.

 

I'm using 1.17.4 and have all the problems you list.

 

When I have the 32GB flash drive connected to the USB port where I have the Shuffle setting selected, when skipping to the next song it will replay the same song or skip to the next song without playing. This never happened when I had 1.17.4 (or .5) on the bike. The navigation when selecting the letters for the songs or albums or artists does not always select in the correct range. A few times I selected S and the artists for the T or V's showed up. The lighting at night gets very bright at times and dims down when the song goes to the next song. Another very annoying thing I noticed is when I start the bike that the Disclaimer will not show for some time where I select Accept. Many times it will show the clock where I cannot access the radio or the music on the flash drive until it finally shows the radio or suddently plays a random song from the flash drive.

I am almost at the point of not even wanting to use infotainment on the FLHX.

In my experience with 1.18.1, the shuffle will not remain selected. Once you turn the bike off or switch to the radio and back to the flash drive, the shuffle option is no longer selected and you have to select it again. Prior to the 1.18.1 update, this did not happen.
