Westgate is Trying to Steal Elvis Presley’s 1957 Harley
The Westgate Resort Las Vegas and Casino is currently involved in yet, another legal battle, but this time it’s not due to its owner’s shady business practices or outrageous Versailles home. Or is it?
A recent court document surfaced on the Internet, which states that Elvis Presley Enterprises, the legal rights holder for all things “The King”, is suing the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino for illegally seizing property that was originally loaned to the Westgate for an exhibition.
Amongst the many items that once belonged to Elvis Presley himself, is a 1957 Harley-Davidson, and other invaluable items such as an Indianapolis-built 1971 Stutz Blackhawk, Presley’s high school yearbooks and many different outfits.
For an unknown reason, the Westgate originally forced the security detail that came with the items off their property, and then removed video surveillance of the artifacts. Therefore giving Elvis Presley Enterprises enough reason to believe malicious activity or ill-faith acts were happening with the items.
Unfortunately, lots of us wouldn’t be one bit surprised…
