We’re not crying, you’re crying!

We’ve always been fans of YouTuber and moto-vlogger Do It with Dan. His videos show his love for Harleys, and are full of cool, badass builds, races, and stunts. But Dan recently undertook a different journey that is more powerful as any bike he’s ridden.

Dan and his pal Mike went on an epic journey to find a very special bike for a very special guy. Mike’s dad, Dwain, a 70-year-old decorated Army veteran, recently fought and beat a diagnosis of terminal cancer. While Dwain was undergoing treatment, he shared with his son one regret he had: selling his 1982 Harley Davidson FX Wide Glide big bore.

Mike was determined to find the bike, and this goal sent him and Dan on a long and seemingly impossible search. Armed with a little information, a handful of photos, and some tips from Dan’s YouTube audience, the guys hit the road. It took three years and over 5000 miles later, but they found the unfindable.
