Trade shows are all about trying to get dealers to part with their hard-earned money so they can get things that will make you part with your hard-earned money. Luckily for us, there’s no better way to showcase a product than by actually installing it on a beautiful motorcycle that’s sure to draw you into the vendor’s lair where they can try and sell it to you. Scattered throughout the show are bikes that also may not have a damned thing in hell to do with whatever gadget they’re trying to push, but it sure makes it fun to be able to get up close and inspect many a talented builder’s work. Because there’s no strict theme at the Indianapolis Dealer Expo, you can find custom V-twins sitting next to a stock ’70s Honda dirt bike or a tacky Chinese scooter. They all have their place and this place is the perfect showcase for all of them to coexist.

Here’s a quick cross section of what you’d find on a stroll through the show including SeƱor Jack’s favorite ride that’s conveniently also the lead photo. If there was a key and some gas in it, I think it would be back in his home state of North Carolina enjoying a life of liesure and high adventure that only a happily-retired guy like Jack can provide.

Choppers and bobbers and cruisers, oh my! See what people are saying in forums!
