Throwback Ad: Harley-Davidson Topper

Did your Dad get you into riding? The best part of this advertising is the shared time with your father.

Sure scooters aren’t for everyone but they are a great beginner bike for the younger generation. These small  motorized wonders can be ridden around a big yard, in parking lots, and other areas to begin that love affair with motorized two wheels.

For me it was a Briggs and Stratton powered mini bike in faded light blue and a pull start that required superhuman Dad strength to pull. Thumb throttle and occasionally functional brakes made it a hoot to ride.
