‘Harbor-Davidson’ is a converted Ultra Classic with one apparent purpose- to drop some jaws.

Sean Kerr of Bikes and Beards has one of the most unique Harley-Davidson motorcycles on the road. The Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic rolled into Kerr’s custody with a RevTech 110 cubic inch engine and six speed transmission. The RevTech powertrain is a fairly standard, relatively inexpensive aftermarket addition to an older hog like the Ultra Classic.

Kerr, however, is a visionary. He sees standard and thinks of solving the questions no one asked. “Nobody wants horsepower anymore, at least not big horsepower,” Kerr declared with a smile.

The Bikes and Beards team then chose to seat a Predator 212cc single cylinder engine into the bike. After the conversion, and after some fitment, Sean and Craig had birthed the “Harbor-Davidson.” The 6.5 horsepower engine fit smoothly, with throttle and exhaust modifications being the most difficult undertaking. Craig converted the bike to chain drive, and even managed to keep it leaking oil in typical Harley-Davidson fashion. You can see the next stage of the project here, complete with equally ambitious paint.

Kerr decided to judge their creation with criteria such as zero-to-sixty-time, public opinion, and functionality. Following the tests, the folks at Bikes and Beards concluded that the bike was no better than stock, but they did so with smiles.

“There’s nothing manlier then pull-starting your Harley-Davidson,” Sean Kerr joked. Love it or hate it, the Harbor-Davidson is a truly unique creation, and a proper testament to creativity.
