The Best of the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
It was a great week to be in South Dakota for the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Hot bikes, cold beer, topless men and women – what’s not to love about the largest motorcycle rally in the world?
HDForums was there for all the madness and compiled our best of the best list for 2015.
BEST MOTORCYCLE 2015 Harley-Davidson Road Glide – I logged over 3000 miles in seven days on this motorcycle and can honestly say it will take you to hell and back again without a problem. And it’ll take you to plenty of other places too.
BEST BAR One-Eyed Jack’s Saloon – Great bartenders, dancers, bands, food and drink. There is something for everybody and you could spend days here. Just watch out for the bartenders with whips.
BEST STRIP CLUB Kinky Gentlemans Club – Located on the second floor of the Sidehack Saloon, the dancers come in all shapes and sizes and put on one heck of a show. Also, it’s a good place for a cheap beer and to recharge your batteries.
BEST RACES The Pappy Hoel Classic Races – The half-miles dirt races were held at the Meade County Fairgrounds this year and were loud, fast and fun!
BEST DOG Lucky Louie is a chilled-out, friendly bulldog and a team mascot who enjoys nothing more than a day at the races.
BEST DIVE BAR The Dungeon Bar – Trashy, twisted, loud and definitely not for the squeamish.
BEST BREAKFAST Weimer’s Diner & Donuts – A great spot on Main Street for a hot meal, coffee and tasty donuts. It’s the best place to meet the locals and you can always count on a line to get in.
BEST CHEESEBURGER Sweeto Burrito – The best cheeseburger in Sturgis is not on a bun, but inside a monster burrito with bacon, french fries, ketchup and American cheese called “The All American.” The food truck from North Dakota can be found in the parking lot next to Easy Riders for the past five years at Sturgis.
Tell us your favorite Sturgis hot spots in the forum and on Facebook! See you there next year!
