You might feel like 50 percent of our posts here on HD Forums have been about Discovery Channel’s six-hour min-series Harley and the Davidsons lately, but it’s for good reason.

Harley-Davidson makes motorcycles for all kinds of riders — small, medium and larger than life. The all-new Softail Slim S falls into the latter category and is currently one of their best and most powerful bikes to date.

It would have been fun to film a review on anything with two wheels — Vespas excluded, yuck — but on this bike, with those chrome Harley-Davidson badges proudly thrusting their shimmer forward of my knees, and with those blacked-out touches everywhere else, this review doused ‘Sons of Anarchy’ into my clean-cut (for the most part) life, and that was refreshing.

The Tourrest is a wraparound backrest designed to give your passenger more comfort and security while riding on the back of your motorcycle.

Last weekend we went to the Outdoor Expo in Harrisburg, PA to check out new products and kick the tires as they say on new gear.
