San Diego Harley-Davidson 25th Anniversary

San Diego Harley-Davidson beach party is free & will include music, bikini models, and, of course, ‘Wisconsin-themed’ drinks and food.

How would you celebrate your 25th anniversary? Would it be with a new pair of silver wedding bands and a renewal of vows? Or perhaps upon a brand-new silver Harley, which you’d take on a ride to Nevada (the Silver State)? Maybe a trip to the beach for sun and fun?

If you’re San Diego, California’s San Diego Harley-Davidson, you’d bring the beach to your brand-new dealership. On August 19, that’s exactly what will happen, when the dealership will host a beach-themed party at its new home at 4645 Morena Boulevard.

Open to one and all with free admission, the beach party is a big celebration of anniversaries, as the festivities are set to coincide with the 35th anniversary of the Harley Owners Group, and the 115th anniversary of Harley-Davidson itself.

From noon to 4 p.m., the celebration will have music from local DJ Lanna B, who will be spinning the jams on a replica lifeguard tower while models in 1950s bikinis serve “Wisconsin-themed appetizers, Cokes and watermelon margaritas,” as well as greet and pose with guests.

To keep the beach party theme going, there will also be food served by Taco Surf, whose fish tacos will pair well with the many surfboards on display from the collection of local surfer Sam McLarty. And of course, there will be plenty of Harleys on display in the flesh and in pictures.

As for activities, there will be 25 items up for grabs in a raffle, including surfboards, Amazon gift cards, and, of course, custom pieces from San Diego Harley-Davidson. The festivities will wind down following a champagne toast at 3:30 p.m. from founder and owner “New York Myke,” who will also give a speech thanking the community for their loyal support throughout the years. This is one silver anniversary you don’t want to miss.
