While we often like to complain about the presence of Japanese sports bikes on American roads, more because of their nuisance epidemic and the crowd that rides them than because of their actually origins, it seems clear that there is a bit of a clash between hogs and their imported counterparts.

While both have two wheels are are certainly fast and fun, they really are quite different. Of course, not everyone sees the divide so clearly. After all, foreign and domestic and relative terms. As for today’s feature, we’ll be looking a hog that, for once, is the foreign ride in this intriguing relationship!

Today we’ll be stepping into the garage of HDForums member Shane, who is also known by his username HoggyMtnBreakdown, and taking a closer look at his ride that lies within!

Shane is, oddly enough, located in Japan. Thus, his Harley-Davidson, a 2008 Fat Boy 105th Anniversary Edition, is a bit of an oddity! With a Screamin’s Eagle Stage I A/C kit, Wood TW-555 cams, Fuel Moto adjustable push rods, a Shotgun shock, an extended rear fender, eighteen inch apes, and more, we’d say this ride is pretty impressive!

We’re sure it would turn heads over here in the States, so how much more attention would it draw on the island? We’re sure it’s quite a sight!

Go stop by Shane’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on MY RIDE!
