Full details on the Pan America are coming in February, but we’ll get our first look at H-D’s 2021 lineup next month.

At this point, it feels like we’ve been waiting forever for Harley-Davidson’s first-ever adventure touring motorcycle, the Pan America, to be revealed. Sure, we’ve seen pictures of this exciting machine and learned scant few details about it, but we obviously want more. Now, Harley is going to finally give us the goods during a virtual reveal event set for February 22, and it’ll star a familiar face as well – famous actor and Harley enthusiast Jason Momoa.

Harley was quick to tout this fact in a short new video, which shows Momoa (or a skilled body double) drifting through the dirt on a Pan America. It’s a dramatic little clip that whets our appetites for the full reveal, which unfortunately is still a couple of months away. But as long as we’ve waited to see this new bike, we suppose a few more weeks won’t hurt.

Harley will be officially showing off the Pan America at its virtual launch event dubbed “H-D 21” on January 19, along with the rest of its 2021 lineup. Normally, MoCo does this in August, but pushed it back a few months in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. Besides its shiny new lineup of motorcycles, Harley will also be showing off its latest parts, accessories, apparel, and riding gear at the event. However, it won’t fully reveal all the details of the Pan America until February 22.

As of right now, little is known about Harley’s first adventure bike. We do know that it will be powered by a brand new engine – a 76-inch liquid-cooled Revolution Max mill producing 145 horsepower and 90 pound-feet of torque. It touts an all-new frame with a removable sub-frame and is obviously designed to go off-road with the best of them.

The suspension is an adjustable Showa unit, with spoked 19- and 18-inch wheels, and Brembo brakes for supreme stopping power. Meanwhile, Harley and Michelin worked together to develop a new set of tires for the bike, which are quite knobby of course. Put it all together, and the Pan America is a brave new world for the legendary motorcycle manufacturer, especially in terms of design.
