NoviStretch Presents MY RIDE! A 2008 Harley-Davidson Rocker C

Owning a motorcycle, or any vehicle for that matter, is not some kind of special badge that certifies someone as a mechanic. Despite the fact that many people like to criticize others for a lack of basic knowledge about how to work on their rides, one always has to start somewhere.

We would much rather see people attempting to learn than just shrugging their shoulders and taking their bike in, and we’re sure that everyone else who wrenches on their own ride would agree.

HDForums member pkrocker admits that he is trying to learn, and that he’s “not the best mechanic on bikes.” Still, we’re glad to see that he has taken to his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and is excited about working to make it even better! Today we’ll step inside his garage and take a closer look at his hog!

Pkrocker started his life on dirt, as many fans of two wheeled rides have, and ended up moving on to Indian motorcycles. After getting rid of his 2002 Indian Roadmaster Chief, Pkrocker purchased the best of the best — Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

His first was a 2005 Dyna Wide Glide, and he loved it. Of course, he had to move on at some point. After getting rid of his Dyna Wide Glide he picked up a 2008 Rocker C, and he definitely doesn’t regret it!

We’re sure that pkrocker will have his ups and downs as he continues to learn more about working on these bikes, though we’re also quite sure that he’ll have a wonderful supportive crew to guide him along here on HDForums!
