Party with heavy metal hitmakers Jackyl, catch the Wall of Death stunt show and check out the all-new 2018 Harleys.

Hey, if you haven’t already made plans for this Labor Day Weekend, hop on your Harley and head to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for the 2017 Milwaukee Rally, “the biggest party of the summer,” happening August 30 to September 4. Be part of H.O.G. history as the national rally returns this year to Harley-Davidson’s hometown. To be held at the iconic Harley-Davidson Museum, the Milwaukee Rally includes five days of live music, exciting motorcycle thrill shows, and a chance to see the new 2018 Harley-Davidson bikes.

The rally kicks off Wednesday night, Aug. 30, when high-energy group Déjà Vu hits the main stage at the Harley Museum and gets the campus jumping. Thursday, Aug. 31, is your chance to see rock-and-roll tribute band Hairball perform, then on Friday, Sept. 1, the Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band presents their brand of bluesy rock. Metal band Jackyl, best known for the Nineties smashes “Down On Me,” “When Will It Rain,” “I Stand Alone” and “The Lumberjackill,” bring down the house on Saturday night, Sept. 2, then on Sunday, Sept. 3, is the rally’s annual ride-in bike show.

Live entertainment each day includes the Wall of Death; high-wire thrill show Una’s Circus; plus Throttlefest from Full Throttle Saloon. All outdoor entertainment is free and open to the public.

But, of course, the real reason we’re going to the rally is to see the new bikes, right?? The Milwaukee Rally is the public’s first opportunity to take the all new 2018 Harley models for a spin. Sign up for your chance to ride one of the new bikes at Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations in Menomonee Falls (about 14 miles northwest of downtown Milwaukee). The five-day rally also boasts some pretty sweet rides if you want to check out the local scenery. Thousands of bikers will be cruising through the beautiful hills and rock formations of Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine, riding down the Wisconsin River, and biking along quiet farm roads up to Green Bay to visit football’s holy land: the Packers’ Lambeau Field.

While you’re at the Harley museum, not only will you be able to ogle the new 2018 bikes, but you can also enjoy the works of custom culture artisans and visit the special summer exhibit, The Race of Gentlemen, before it closes on September 4.
