Sons of Anarchy star, CHiPs legend, Fabio and more famous bikers are set to roll at June 4 charity ride in Los Angeles.

Flaxen-haired romance-novel cover model Fabio returns as Celebrity Grand Marshal for the fifth annual “The Greatest Escape Motorcycle Ride,” which supports mesothelioma research and is set to take place in Los Angeles on June 4.

For the first time, the ride will kick off in two locations: Canoga Park’s Top Rocker Harley-Davidson, and Antelope Valley Harley-Davidson in Lancaster. Riders will cruise through the Angeles National Forest, finishing the ride at historic restaurant Newcombs Ranch on Angeles Crest Highway.

ESCAPEES: (l. to r.): Rusty Coones, Kristy Swanson, Fabio and Larry Wilcox.

Both starting locations will open at 8:30 a.m. for check-in and registration. Then it’s kickstands up as Fabio escorts riders along the route, accompanied by a host of other celebrities, including CHiPs legend Larry Wilcox (he played Jon to Erik Estrada‘s Ponch), Sons of Anarchy actor and Attika 7 guitarist Rusty Coones, actress Kristy Swanson (the original “Buffy” from the 1992 film Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Olympic skating medalist Lloyd Eisler. At Newcombs Ranch, riders will tuck into a BBQ spread and wash it down with Worthy Brewing craft beers.

“I am honored to once again serve as Grand Marshal for the Greatest Escape Motorcycle Ride to benefit the Pacific Mesothelioma Center,” says Fabio. “It is a great event for an important cause and I look forward to seeing everyone out there on June 4.”

“The Greatest Escape” ride was inspired by The Great Escape star Steve McQueen, who lost his battle with mesothelioma in 1980. The ride, which is organized by the Pacific Mesothelioma Center, honors those who have fought against mesothelioma, supports those currently fighting the disease, and raises money for research toward a cure.

Registration is $35 for riders, $15 for passengers, and $20 for non-riders who want to join the festivities for lunch and entertainment. All fees include lunch, entertainment, parking, a ride pin and a bandana. All proceeds go towards mesothelioma research and improving mesothelioma victims’ quality of life. To register, visit the official ride website.
