It’s the Bangbus for Harley Lovers

What is an iconic and globally recognized brand such as Harley-Davidson to do when the reach of retail shops and dealers can’t cover the entire face of the Earth? Easy, build a mobile dealer!

That’s exactly what they did. Harley unveiled what they call ‘Legend On Tour’ at the 2016 India Bike Week, which is like a crazy mix of  Sturgis bike rally and Daytona bike week, but in India, which makes it even more exotic and—crazy.

This banging bus was designed by Indian automotive designer, Dilip Chhabria, and believe it or not, it’s said to carry a full line-up of Harley Davidson motorcycles, plus parts, apparel and other accessories just like they do at their real shops. I don’t believe such a claim one bit, but I guess a mobile shop is better than no Harley shop at all.

India is in the midst of a social revolution where the growing male and female middle class is enjoying more buying power than ever before, which makes it a target emerging market for brands like Harley Davidson and others.
