CarrollB's 2009 Ultra Classic

Careful maintenance, great mods, and tons of extras make this bike a real winner.

We’re starting to sound like a broken record, but we just have to spread the good news about our very own H-D Forums Marketplace. If you’re looking for a new-to-you Harley-Davidson, there’s simply no better place to find a great deal on a mint-condition bike that was cared for by a real enthusiast.

A prime example is this stunning cherry red 2009 Ultra Classic. The seller, forum member CarrollB, has outfitted the bike with some very choice upgrades. In addition, he’s including some awesome extras for the next owner.

When new, this bike came pretty loaded. It’s got ABS, cruise control, and a factory alarm. CarrollB added a few choice performance upgrades as well. This Ultra Classic has a high-flow air cleaner, American Custom mufflers, and a Power Vision tuner. In addition, handling is improved thanks to the Progressive 944 rear shocks.

Like us, CarrollB is a fan of bright LED lights. The headlight, passing lights, and taillight on this Ultra Classic were upgraded to LEDs. In our opinion, this bike looks about perfect in stock condition, but CarrollB had the inner fairing painted to match the rest of the candy red bike. It looks great.

The buyer of this Ultra Classic has some other goodies coming their way, too. The seller is including a cover, a shop manual, and a bike jack. In addition, you’re also getting a pair of rider headsets so that you can communicate with your passenger.

With 38,000 miles, you might have maintenance concerns. fear not, as CarrollB has all of the maintenance receipts. He’s always used Mobil 4 synthetic ever since the bike had just 1,000 miles on it. He’s a man after our own heart – Mobil 1 is what we use on our fleet of Harleys, too.

Recently, he replaced the brake pads and cam chain tensioners. That should result in a stress-free, trouble-free experience for the next owner. We’re sure that you could expect many more miles out of this beautiful bike if you keep up with CarrollB’s rigorous maintenance schedule.

The bike looks beautiful, and we’d be proud to own it. At just $9,500, we’re very tempted to buy a one-way plane ticket to Baltimore, Maryland and ride it back!
