Harley-Davidson LiveWire Receives Cyberpunk Treatment from JVB-Moto

Germany-based atelier JVB-Moto reveals stylish reproduction of the all-electric LiveWire that sports Cyberpunk 2077 inspired design.

Earlier last month, Harley-Davidson, Inc. launched its all-electric motorcycle sub-brand- LiveWire. Now European custom bike outfit, JVB-Moto has unveiled a stylish reproduction of the all-electric motorcycle, which sports a Cyberpunk 2077 inspired design. The Milwaukee brand officially enlisted the services of Cologne, Germany-based atelier, and the result of this collaboration is JVB-Moto’s LiveWire-based creation- the ‘Silent Alarm’.

Even though modified Harleys are a common sight in the biking community, Silent Alarm is the first-ever custom-built LiveWire model. Harley gave free rein to the design house, and the company was allowed to reinterpret LiveWire as it saw fit. JVB-Moto redesigned the motorcycle while ensuring that all modifications were road legal so that the bike could be put into production.

The bike gets subtle style changes, but the overall ensemble sports a distinctive albeit sleek look. Almost every panel on the motorcycle was modified, including the faux fuel tank. JVB-Moto opted to fabricate new panels using fiber class because carbon fiber is not the safest material to use when you’re working with high voltage systems. Silent Alarm’s styling bears a striking resemblance to Husqvarna Svartplien 701 because the bike’s LED headlight and matte-black nacelle were borrowed from the Austrian naked street bike.

In addition to the seat, the team at JVB-Moto also replaced the stock tail unit, front air scoops, and fenders. The alloy wheels now get new carbon fiber covers, and the original bars have been replaced by LSL handlebars. JVB-Moto also installed a pair of Blaze Laserlights, which offer additional illumination and sit inside custom housings that look factory-fitted.

The bike now rides on an aftermarket mono-shock suspension setup by Sport Evolution. There has been no change in the overall power output of the motorcycle. Silent Alarm is still powered by Harley’s Revelation powertrain, which produces 105 HP of power and 86 ft-lb of peak torque in its factory tune. JVB-Moto’s custom LiveWire models might give Harley the competitive edge that it needs in the electrified space.

With the global automotive industry fast adopting electrification, Harley’s competition in the battery-powered segment is fast growing. The company’s LiveWire offerings rival models like Damon Hypersport, Lightning Motorcycle’s LS-218, and Zero Motorcycles’ SR/F in the US market.
