Best Way to Say ‘Happy Holidays’? Heated Hand Grips, Biker Beer Cooler…
You know they’ve got plenty of tee-shirts. It’s time to get creative!
It’s the season of giving, and whether you’re shopping for a Harley lover in your family or looking to build your own wish list, we’re here to help. We don’t intend to make this a list of T-shirts or shot glasses – we’re sure you or the person you’re shopping for has plenty of both. Instead, we’re inclined to find gifts from the heart, stuff that will really leave a lasting impression.
Heated Hand Grips
We had to start the list off with a pretty obvious choice. For those who like to ride well into the year, these heated hand grips are the perfect modification. With five adjustable heat settings, you can easily find a Goldilocks solution to keep warm without frying your mitts off. They’re also a direct fit for your bike, with the quality you’d expect from a factory Harley-Davidson accessory.
Battery Tender
We’re frankly surprised by how many of our fellow motorcyclists don’t own one of these. Battery tenders maintain a charge on your Harley’s battery while it waits for clear streets and warmer temperatures. Help your friends and loved ones winterize their bike the right way – maybe they’ll tale the money they save on buying a replacement battery next spring and buy you a really cool gift next year!
Camping Cookware
Some Harley owners consider “roughing it” to be any hotel without a pool or wifi. Others like to become one with nature, savoring the sights, scents, and flavors of the road. For those in the latter category, this camping cook set includes everything you need to prepare food on the road, nestled into a compact package that will fit easily in a saddlebag while leaving plenty of space for other essentials.
Grille Tools
Even if the person your shopping for doesn’t like camping out where the buffalo roam (or the deer and the antelope play), there’s a good chance they like using their grille at home. These Craftsman grille tools take the tool concept quite seriously, featuring screwdriver handles seen on many other Craftsman tools. We’re not sure if that famous Craftsman lifetime warranty applies, but considering they’re made from strong stainless steel, we’re guessing you won’t have to worry about finding out.
Motorcycle Lift
While we’re on the subject of tools, let’s talk motorcycle lifts. Compared to our four-wheeled friends, we have it pretty easy. Almost anyone can afford a motorcycle lift, and just about anyone can fit one in the garage. That doesn’t make having one any less useful or cool, however. If that certain someone is firmly in the “nice” column this year, get them one of these!
Harley Patent Drawing Posters
Any Harley-Davidson fan is certainly obsessed with the history of the brand…who wouldn’t be? The company’s path has taken some interesting twists and turns. This set of three classy posters is made up of early patent drawings. Their subdued, utilitarian style will complement any room – even an office or the garage. The possibilities are endless.
Harley Crate Cooler
It may be chilly out now, but when summer rolls around, they’ll be glad to have this cooler. It’s got a rustic vintage wooden-crate style, with a removable plastic liner and integrated carrying handles on each side for easy transport. As a bonus, it includes a similarly utilitarian wrench bottle opener. It’s a gift that is quite literally as cool as it looks.
Hallmark Harley Keepsake Ornament
Some people think getting Christmas decorations for Christmas is pretty corny, but others are happy to add another tool to next year’s decorative arsenal. If your loved one goes all out on holiday decorating, they’ll love this 1968 Harley-Davidson FLH Electra-Glide keepsake ornament from Hallmark. Every year, Hallmark produces a new, limited-edition keepsake ornament of a motorcycle.
Harley Neon Clock
I know we said we’d avoid the kind of stuff you can easily find at your Harley-Davidson dealership, but there’s just something about neon. We’re attracted to it like flies to a bug zapper. This glowing orange bar & shield clock would look great just about anywhere, in your basement bar, your garage…even your living room. Let us know if you manage to get that one past your better half.
So, that’s our list. What do you think? Which of these would you most like to see under your tree? Found something cool we missed? Let us know on our forums!
