Harley Davidson Fat Boy Modified by American Eagle Is Up for Grabs

American Eagle gave this 2011 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy a major Overhaul and this beautiful bike can be yours.

Corinth, Texas-based Harley-Davidson dealer- American Eagle- is highly revered by the biker community. Even many of our Harley Davidson Forums members have shared glowing testimonials about the shop. So, it is safe to say that over the years, American Eagle has produced many striking reproductions of Harley models, and most recently, the company unveiled yet another head-turner.

The bike in the photographs is a 2011 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy, which has been the subject of a major overhaul. The total cost of modification stands at $9000, and even though some of the styling cues are quite opulent, the entire ensemble stays true to the Harley-Davidson lineage.

The most striking feature of the modifications has to be the bike’s gorgeous rims. The motorcycle rides on DNA Mammoth alloys, which flex 52 spokes per piece. The 18-inch wheels sport a dual-color paint scheme with white rims, which are contrasted by the black finish of the spokes. American Eagle also modified the rear end of the bike, which now gets a bespoke lowering kit, and the stocks seat has been swapped in favor of a single spring-saddle leather seat.

The front end of the bike is dominated by huge ape-style 12-inch handlebars that get white grips, which help compliment the paint scheme of the rims. The company also installed black slider covers for the upper and lower fork. Am. Eagle also ditched the original front fender in favor of a slimmer replacement.

Like many other modified Harley-Davidson bikes, this motorcycle is also all about panache, theatricality, and drama, which is why it is understandable that the company refrained from tampering with the original powerplant. Instead, American Eagle decided to refine the 96 cubic inch engine by installing a Smokey Chrome air cleaner cover and a Stage 1 air cleaner kit.

The bike’s dual exhaust has been enveloped in Screamin’ Eagle gray exhaust wrap. The Softail motorcycle only has 6600 miles on its odometer, and it is currently listed on the auction website Hemmings.com.
The auction ends on April 6th at 2:00 am, and surprisingly the current bid only stands at $9000 (reserve not met).
