2016 is bringing some big changes to the Harley-Davidson lineup, and if you are looking for a good reason to upgrade, I have 103 of them.

With the exception of the Street Bob, the High Output Twin Cam 103 motor from the Touring lineup of bikes has been moved to every Dyna and Softail model in the lineup.

That means more power and more performance; so much that H-D is claiming this is the most powerful cruiser lineup in the company’s long and incredible history.

Oh, did I mention that things get even better thanks to two new models? The new Iron 883 and Forty-Eight join Harley’s bike models and help push the company’s leadership of Dark Custom bikes to new heights.

Both bikes have that classic vibe and feel, but with all the modern suspension and engine upgrades you expect from a new Harley-Davidson.

More changes include the addition of limited S series models of the Fat Boy and Softail Slim. Both the Fat Boy S and the Softail Slim S come powered by the Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110.

Softails also get electronic cruise control for the first time ever. You will find it stock on 2016 Heritage Softail Classic, Softail Deluxe, Fat Boy S and Softail Slim S bikes, but it will also be an option for all other Softail models.

If you are more into the touring side of Harley, allow me to break the amazing news that 2016 sees the return of the Road Glide Ultra.

Built under the input and guidance from Project Rushmore, the Road Glide Ultra is poised to be one of H-D’s greatest touring bikes ever made.

Harley didn’t forget about your Sportser fans either. All 2016 Sportsters are getting a full suspension overhaul and upgraded seats.

If you are looking for a new Harley, the new bikes should be rolling into show rooms within days of reading this. Give your local dealer a call and check out the amazing new machines coming for next year.
