Hard Candy Hot Rod Red 2017 Road King

One of our forum members is selling his bike. Could it be the Harley of your dreams?

Looking for a one-of-a-kind, gently-used late-model Harley-Davidson for your next bike? Look no further than the Marketplace section of Harley-Davidson Forums. In addition to good advice and quality banter, our forums is a great place to buy or sell your next bike.

If you’re up in the Pacific Northwest, this 2017 Road King should be right up your alley. The factory Hard Candy Hot Rod Red is a rare color that’s sure to turn heads.

We haven’t seen many of these bikes in the wild, and while we’re a long way from Spokane, Washington, we’d consider taking the trip or shipping it. The owner, forum member Nickatnyt, has taken great care of the bike and documented its low, 3,800 miles well.

In addition to the rare paint color, this Road King was ordered with both security and ABS. Nickatnyt then added a windscreen and a backrest for added comfort. He also took care of both recalls at his local dealership, and installed an oil breather bypass to keep oil out of the combustion chamber.

Nickatnyt is more than happy to transport the bike to a dealership for a pre-purchase inspection. During the inspection,he plans on changing the fluids for the next owner. That’s a big bonus for the next owner – the first thing we usually do when we get a new bike is to change all of the fluids.

That would also be helpful for an out-of-state buyer who is looking for that rare Hard Candy Hot Rod Red paint job. Speaking of that paint job, we love the way this color shines in the sunlight, and the darker red flames really add a subtle, aggressive look.

Flames are a classic Harley-Davidson custom paint scheme, and so is candy apple red. The combination of the two is just about perfect, in our opinion.

Nickatnyt is selling due to family and work obligations that will keep him off the road this summer. We hope that the bike’s next owner gets lots of miles and plenty of smiles out of their new toy – and we hope that Nickatnyt gets back on two wheels soon!
