Georgia Harley Dealership Hosts Event for Men Wearing High Heels

When I think of a bunch of dudes walking around in high heels, I don’t really think of Harley-Davidson dealerships in Georgia. Or any Harley dealerships. Because first off, I don’t spend any time thinking about dudes wearing heels.  And if I had to think of where guys wearing heels would be, I’d guess West Hollywood over, say, any place south of the Mason-Dixon line.

But a Harley-Davidson dealership in Tifton, Georgia recently hosted an event where men strapped on high heels and lapped the parking lot eight times—a mile total—to raise awareness of domestic violence. This isn’t the country’s first “Walk A Mile in Her Shoes” event, and it sucks there have to be events to bring attention to something—you don’t hit girls!—decent men learn before they’re out of diapers, but it’s always nice to see the Harley community step up and embrace a good cause. No word on any broken ankles or other footwear related injuries for the brave guys who attempted this walk.
