Handbuilt Motorcycle Show 2019

Happening April 12-14 in Austin, popular annual Team Revival event coincides with Moto Grand Prix race.

It has become one of the biggest gearhead weekends anywhere. Coinciding with MotoGP’s race at the Circuit of the Americas, Team Revival is hosting their sixth annual Handbuilt Motorcycle Show. And it all happens from April 12 to 14 in Austin, Texas.

The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show is an inspiring showcase of works from builders and craftsmen that combine knowledge, skill, and ingenuity to create one-of-a-kind, truly hand-built machines.

This year, the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show occurs in the parking lot of the Austin American-Statesman newspaper. The fun kicks off on the evening of Thursday, April 11, with the Handbuilt Show Kickstart Party at The Castle on the Hill in downtown Austin.

Then on Saturday, April 12, attendees can look forward to The Handbuilt Show Super Hooligan Race hosted by Team Revival and Roland Sands Design’s Super Hooligans series. That evening features a screening of Gareth Roberts’ new documentary about custom motorcycle culture, “Oil in the Blood.”

The weekend fun ends on Sunday, April 14, with the Handbuilt Show Builder Wrap Party at the Revival Cycles Workshop.

This year sees the addition of an admission fee for Handbuilt Motorcycle Show. Organizers say that as the scale of the show increases, so does the cost. In order to keep up, they need to charge a modest entry fee that covers the entire three day event. That’s three days of viewing custom and unique bikes which will no doubt leave you in awe. Plus your ticket gets you into the Kickstart party on Thursday and the Sunday wrap-up gala.

While in town for Handbuilt Motorcycle Show 2019, you’ll also want to check out Cowboy Harley-Davidson of Austin and their 53,000 square-foot storefront. Lots to see there, too.
