LiveWire Experience Center

First LiveWire Experience Center will open in Malibu, California. The company will also have a virtual showroom where customers can talk to LiveWire representatives via live video chats.

We here at Harley Davidson Forums are very excited about Harley-Davidson’s electrification strategy. We’ve also been following the company’s progress diligently. In September 2021, Harley’s e-bicycle sub-brand Serial 1 started accepting preorders for the limited edition MOSH/TRIBUTE models. Now, the bike manufacturer is pulling out all the stops to market play its battery-only LiveWire One offering. Harley-Davidson will open its first LiveWire Experience Center in Malibu, California.

The design aesthetic of the experience center offers a new vision of a bike dealership. London-based designer Steve Lidbury is responsible for the styling of the new space. For those unfamiliar with Harley Davidson’s LiveWire outfit, the company also has 34 dealers across the United States. LiveWire is headquartered out of Silicon Valley, California. Furthermore, the company has ten dealerships in the Golden State alone.

Jochen Zeitz shared his thoughts on the new space as chairman, president, and CEO of Harley-Davidson. “California is one of the most established electric vehicle markets in the world and is an ideal location for the first LiveWire Experience Center.” He further adds, “The LiveWire One motorcycle is designed for the pursuit of urban adventure and the Malibu area offers superb riding in a variety of environments, both urban and beyond.”

Learning Electric Mobility

The company also aims to use the LiveWire Experience Center to help non-riders and riders engage with electric mobility and the LiveWire brand.

Prices for the all-new LiveWire One start at $21,999. The motorcycle is available in two color options, which include Liquid Black and Horizon White. A 15.4 kWh rechargeable energy storage system powers Harley Davidson LiveWire One’s Revelation motor. The battery-only drivetrain also produces 100 HP of maximum power and 84 lb-ft of peak torque. According to the company, LiveWire One can offer 95 miles of combined range and accelerate to 60 MPH from a complete standstill in just 3 seconds.

To attract buyers interested in electric mobility, the new LiveWire experience center offers a virtual showroom where company representatives can provide more insights over live video chats. In addition to showcasing LiveWire design and technology, the experience center also offers displays by LiveWire partners and space for events and socializing.
