If you’re a fan of the Harley-Davidson XR750 and the world-famous stunt rider- Evel Knievel- then you’re in for a treat.

Just like the legendary stunt performer Evel Knievel, the motorcycle community celebrates and regards Harley-Davidson as an iconic brand. Last year marked the 50th anniversary of Milwaukee-based motorcycle manufacturer’s XR750 nameplate. If you are a fan of the Harley-Davidson XR750 and the world-famous stunt rider, then you are in for a treat, as you can now own an Evel Knievel- spec XR750.

The company first introduced the XR750 back in 1970, and the bike was developed as a racing model. Harley-Davidson XR750 also has a very impressive motorsport pedigree. Between 1972 and 2008, the motorcycle managed to secure 28 championship wins and became one of the most respected nameplates in the Grand National championships.

This meant that the bike had fans from all walks of life, including celebrities like Knievel. Starting from 1970 to 1976, Harley-Davidson XR750 was Knievel’s bike of choice. Even though the stuntman has now retired, his signature style has been immortalized forever. The bike in question has been listed on Mecum Auctions with no reserve, and the 1972 Harley Davidson XR750 Evel Knievel replica has been painted by George Sedlak.

For the uninitiated, Sedlak was the stuntman’s most well-regarded artist. Sedlak was someone Evel Knievel entrusted with the responsibility of painting his helmets and even his rides. The motorcycle sports a blue tank that features forward-facing stars, red and white stripes, and a Harley-Davidson logo finished in gold.

The top of the tank features an image of Knievel jumping over the Snake River Canyon along with that of a Golden horseshoe that sports an inscription that reads “Color Me Lucky.” The stars and stripes motifs carry on to the rear fender, which features another inscription that reads “Happy landings.”

The motorcycle’s powerplant comes mated to polished chrome dual-exhausts, and the bike also gets a beautiful leather seat with a red top and exposed white piping. This XR750 Evel Knievel replica will be sold alongside a large collection of bikes in Las Vegas. The auction will be held from April 28 to May 1, and if you want to ride home on this stunning motorcycle then lookout for Lot F103.
