Harley-Davidson Smokes a Honda CBR

Harley-Davidson motorcycles are often involved in races, both legal and illegal in nature. They’re fun rides and put out enough foot-pounds of torque to make their riders pretty confidant. Though the results of these races vary a lot based on the competitors, the surrounding circumstances, and more factors, they are still quite fun to watch. Today’s video is no different.

In this clip, a 2009 Honda CBR sports bike goes up against a white Harley-Davidson motorcycle at the drag strip. It’s a rather exciting race, which the suspense building as the two riders prepare to get started. In races such as this we’ve seen different results every time, so predicting the winner doesn’t seem all that simple. Good thing, too — that would be boring!

As the two take off, the hog shoots ahead. Of course, it wouldn’t be unreasonable for the CBR to take the lead later in the race even though it couldn’t beat the take-off of he Harley-Davidson. Yet, that doesn’t happen. The white hog holds the lead until the end, staying consistently in front of the Honda, which isn’t far behind.
