Chihuahua is a Bay Bridge Runaway We Can Root For

Contextless videos like this short footage of a Chihuahua running away from the police on the Bay Bridge are great, because you can simply make the story up. My theory: the poor pup was just tryin’ to find his way to Oracle Arena to watch the Golden State Warriors and the Splash Brothers make NBA history.

Because it’s a dog, he can’t explain what exactly he was doing on the bridge, but the California Highway Patrol shut it down in order to try to capture the cute little creature. It took two motorcycles and a cop car to get the little villain into custody.

No dogs were harmed in the filming of this pursuit.
