2000 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport

Sometimes builds are a long time in the making. Whether that means the builds itself takes a long time to complete, the perfect project takes a long time to find, or decisions take a long time to make, it doesn’t really matter. What does matter is the fact that building up the perfect rides take a lot of time and patience to get right, but it is worth it in the end. After all, the longer you wait for something the better it is, as most anyone on this planet can attest to.

And HDForums member Bill, who is also known by his username BeavisRules, has waited long enough to get started on his. He finally took the plunge just recently and purchased a 2000 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide Sport from one of his coworkers. The ride had been sitting in the coworker’s garage for eight years after a knee injury made it impossible for him to ride any longer. So Bill bought it for a fair price, and now he’s ready to make it his own!

His first plan us to drain the fluids and to rebuild the carburetor. After that he plans to replace the fuel lines, since they have grown brittle over time. But he can’t wait to get started stripping the ride and adding accessories in the future!
