Car Races Bikes. GF Gets Mad. GF Pulls E-Brake. Watch What Happens Next

e-brake

Contrary to popular belief, the big and rubbery stick next to the seat of your car is called a parking brake and is used to hold the weight of the car while parked on an incline, and not an emergency brake or “e-brake” for panic situations. This is something a woman in Mexico recently learned about the hard way.

This video by 2012mx takes place on a toll road outside of Mexico City which I’m actually familiar with. These type of tollways are found across the country are normally kept in excellent condition, can be up to four lanes wide, and serve as perfect setting to speeders on four and two wheels alike. This time it’s a combination of both.

According to local news outlet, Diario De Morelos, the driver of the blue Volkswagen Jetta engaged in a bit of ‘cat and mouse’ with the two motorcyclists shown on the video, and really started pissing his girlfriend off. Whether the girlfriend onboard was mad at the driver’s behavior or simply scared for her life, she thought pulling the e-brake was a good idea.

Needless to say it wasn’t. I won’t spoil the video for you, but let’s just say she’ll never pull that little stunt ever again. Plus, if the whole girlfriend story turns out to be true, something tells me she’s now an ex-girlfriend.

It’s a bit painful to watch…
