Neagle

Mystery continues to shroud Bad Land’s Neagle even years after its debut. Vibrant gold accents offset the bike’s rich black color scheme.

Renowned Japanese custom bike outfit Bad Land always manages to amaze us. We have discussed many offerings from the atelier in the past, including the exotic gold engulfed Meg. Recently we came across Bad Land’s yet another exciting build from the past called the Neagle. The bike first made its world debut in 2015. What’s intriguing about this particular motorcycle is that it is shrouded in mystery.

We do not have much information about the motorcycle, which includes the origins of its moniker. However, we know that this black beauty started life as a Harley Davidson Night Train. The bike rides on a set of Rick’s Motorcycles Super Steve alloy wheels. Our avid readers will recognize Rick’s motorcycles as the shop that has also collaborated with Badlands on multiple projects.

The rear-end of Neagle sits on an 18-inch wheel which is 250 mm wide, and we find a big 21-inch rim up front. Furthermore, SJP Engineering’s forks and a gorgeous No Limit Custom headlight dominate the front-end. For those unfamiliar with the Harley Davidson FXSTB Softail Night Train, a 45 degree Twin Cam motor powers the motorcycle.

Neagle

Bad Land is responsible for fabricating several custom add-ons for the Neagle, including its tank and menacing exhaust.

The air-cooled powerplant could churn out 63 HP of maximum power and 78.2 lb-ft of peak torque in its stock tune. It is unclear whether Bad Land made any modifications to the original Harley Davidson powertrain. Casazza, Italy-based Rebuffini Cycles supplied the bike’s swingarm. The motorcycle also ditches its original seat in favor of an Atelier Cherry replacement.

By its looks, we can say with some certainty that Atelier Cherry also used high-quality alligator skin to make this custom seat. The dark ensemble also includes other aftermarket parts like Motogadget’s speedometer and Kellermann turn signals.

The bike’s dark and ominous color scheme is offset by eye-catching gold lettering and pinstripes. Even years after it was introduced, the company has not revealed Neagle’s price tag. We also do not have any information regarding what happened to the bike since its world debut.
