Spring is a special season for H-D enthusiasts. Lucky Collector Car Auctions in the Northwest is selling a rare gem a 1993 HD FLSTN Nostalgia Softail “Moo Glide”. Released in limited production for Harley-Davidson’s 90th anniversary this FLSTN Nostalgia Softail is number 2414 out of only 2700.

It became an instant icon selling out quickly in 1993 featuring modern components mated to classic aesthetics with bovine-bits for future collectibility. Let’s see what’s included in the auction of this gem.

This production model #2414 sounds and looks like it is in complete condition ready to ride with a listed 33,475 miles ridden. Also known as the “Cow Bike” for it’s Heifer trim it’s accented spot-on by similar styled non-bovine OEM pieces that harken back to an old-fashioned look.

Check out the NOS wire wheels, whitewall tires, running boards, chrome headlight nacelle and black-on-white colorway resembling a ‘Golden Era’ of H-D but tells nothing what lies beneath.

If you plan on bidding, look forward to the feeling of early-90’s 1340 CC v-twin engine knocking out sweet notes from custom exhaust. The mill is said to be all factory OEM with the exception of a ‘more rideable aftermarket exhaust’.

Sounds like a smart investment for resell-ability or a daily-rider while keeping authenticity. It’s said that these are set to go up in value. The 5-speed transmission spinning out through a belt drive to the rear must feel as smooth and punchy as today’s H-Ds. The original “shotgun” exhaust is included in the deal along with the factory saddlebags, seat and windshield bag.

This Harley’s handling is in the contemporary age along with the driveline. Matching it’s prowess of power this H-D uses a hydraulic fork and softail in the handling department offering that modern “Moo Glide” ride. Braking is power-assisted discs completing the new-age easy riding package whilst still appealing to the classic H-D fans.
