2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Low Build
Building a ride can be beneficial in many ways. Sometimes the benefit is simply in the reality that one is learning how to work on their ride, and making it more their own in the process. Other times it is because it allows them to buy a ride cheaper, and then build it up into a fully functioning ride.
Still other times, working on a ride can bring people together and be a wonderful bonding experience. Whether or not this is bonding between a husband and wife, a father and daughter, or anyone else, it doesn’t really matter. What does is that the bike is being worked on, and that those working on it enjoy the process!
Today we’ll be looking at a build that HDForums member mathew2172 has taken on with his stepson. The ride is a 2005 Harley-Davidson Sportster 883 Low, and it will eventually be his stepson’s when it is complete. But, for now, it is a joint project that is in progress!
As of right now, mathew2172 is working on cutting and chopping front fender off a touring bike, which he then plans to add a rear swing arm. So far, everything seems to be coming along well!
