Harley Servi-Car

Three-wheeler was once part of well-known Harley collector Tom LaFleur‘s enviable collection.

Despite their rarity, pretty much every Harley-Davidson fan has seen at least one Servi-Car in their lifetime. These super cool three wheeler utility bikes were produced between 1932 and 1975, yet most were used strictly by small business owners or police departments. But this particular G model 1951 Servi-Car is more cool custom cruiser than workhorse. We found the vintage ride on eBay, where it was recently offered with a $30,000 “Buy it Now” price.

The three-wheeler was once part of well-known vintage Harley collector Tom LaFleur‘s collection. One of only 778 produced in 1951, the bike is probably the only one left out of that group with these types of old school vintage custom touches. The chrome and dark blue paint mesh together perfectly, and a set of steelies with hub caps out back hearkens to a different era.

But this cool old ride isn’t all show. The engine is a stroked out, high compression lump with free flowing heads. It features a number of quality parts like an Indian Chief Big Twin carb and Quick Start 2000 electronic ignition. And the beefy powerplants sounds amazing through a set of Big City Thunder Baffels.

The end result is a nice throwback ride that anyone would be proud to have. And among a sea of modern rides with high-tech parts, you’ll be sure and stand out everywhere you go. Plus, you’ll most likely be rocking the only Servi-Car in virtually every show you attend. Definitely the only one with a decidedly old school, custom vibe.
