Seriously, when I saw the picture and subsequent video of this 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead, I thought it was a brand new motorcycle that had just come off the Harley-Davidson assembly line. It’s that perfect. How do you even keep a motorcycle this old in such amazing condition? Sure, you can restore the entire bike, but that doesn’t look to be the case here.

It also speaks to Harley’s continue design language. There’s a path you can trace from those early Harley-Davidsons to the bikes the company produces today, and that’s what Harley’s customers want. Is that sustainable? We’re not sure, but after seeing this motorcycle work so well after 70 odd years, who needs to change?

So what’s the verdict? Should Harley-Davidson change its designs, or should it stick with what it knows and continue into the future. Also, does anyone know where I can pick up a 1947 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead bobber, because I desperately need one now.
