Default Homemade Tools

A few homemade tools and some rough dimensions.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
The clutch lock plates work VERY well to lock the hub. Much easier and less expensive than Clutch Lock Plate HD p/n 97175-55 or HD p/n97173-71 and&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;because they are&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;aluminum, they&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;won't dick up" your motor.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Need&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; more complete dimensions or specs, let me know, but the beauty of this tooling is that it can all be&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;adapted to&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;what you have for&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;shop scraps once the basic dimensions are known. All this can be made with a hacksaw, drill press, and some files and a welder of some sort.

Default RE: Homemade Tools

Very nice. I made the clutch spring compressor but not the locking tools. Would have been nicer that the splintered 1X2 I ended up with. I don't have any picts but I did also turn and tap a simple piece to screw onto the clutch adjusting screw to attach before the cover is removed to hold it in place for removal and installation. It's great because it keeps the ramp assy. in place and I havn't had to adjust the clutch the last two times I've taken the cover off.
