Default Installing rivets

I am redoing the hard bags on my FLH.&nbsp\\; Bought all new hardware from JP.&nbsp\\; In the kit there are rivets that hold all the hareward to the glass bags.&nbsp\\; My question is what kind of tool do you use to peen over the inside of the rivets.&nbsp\\; I have used pop rivets but have no idea how to install the factory style ones.&nbsp\\; Any help would be greatly appreciated.

my guess to do it right and make them look good you would need 2 dies one for either end and a press or pneumatic hammer to tighten.&nbsp\\; I've left mine intact and masked them several times when painting. They look like they would be a bugger to get correct..
good luck and let us know what you find.

Found the tool and the bags are on the bike.&nbsp\\; There is a tool that fits into a air hammer that curls the tubing on the semitubular rivets over and after getting the air pressure right it was a breeze.&nbsp\\; The new shiney parts look great on the bike.&nbsp\\; Now I just need to find a nice set of correct bag rails for it and I am DONE!

Thanks for the reply.

www.rivetsinstock.com

They just so happen to be in the Detroit metro area so I was able to pick it up at their warehouse.&nbsp\\; I'm pretty sure they have online ordering also.

Thanks.
I would sure like to see an image of your latches.
I need to either replace mine of find a set of keys that fit the things.

A shot of them installed on the bags would be nice.
