I just joined and would like some feed back ref a 2008 Fat Bob. Any suggestions on what general tools I might need to work on my bike. nothing major just changing goodies. Best place to purchase the tools. sears, snap on etc. Also any picturs out there on any custom work done.

You'll need some US allen (hex) wrenches and a "star" bit set. And, about 3 or 4 sizes socket or open end wrenchs. Probably, 9/16, 1/2, 5/8 and 1/4". Oh yeah....a philips screw driver too. HD makes a small bike toolset, you could see what they have in theirs and go out and buy the same items for probably half the price.

As far as the allen and star bit set....Cobolt makes a nice set with a socket type wrench and the hex and star bits for about $50. You can get em at Home Depot.

You might want a torque wrench too....Get a good one! Probably from Sears or something.
