Default NASCAR cheaters

It seems Carl Edward's car failed post race inspection Sunday, after He won the race. It would only be fair to take the win away and his points for that race. Seems "crybaby" Jack Rousch (who cried cheat when Jeff Gordon was winning a few years back) is himself a cheater. Figures. The ball is in NASCAR's court now, decision tomorrow.

Go to nascar.com and read the facts. He did NOT fail inspection. He did not have his oil reservoir box cover on.

Chevy hasn't won one yet so a rule change is coming.

I think I smell a Hendrick fan, so do you think they should have pulled Johnson's Dover win a couple years ago when he and Kyle Busch got caught with their "innovative" rear shocks, that raised the back of the car instead of compressing it. Or maybe last year at Sonoma they shouldn't have let either Johnson or Gordon race because of their illegal cars, instead of just making them start in the back.

Wideglide95th is right, if a Chevy doesn't get a win pretty soon then Nascar is gonna take something away from the other manufacturers.

I doubt that...Dale Jr had "the rocket" at Daytona, and the manufacturers seem as even as ever.To be a fan of a particular "brand" anymore is a farce, they're generic cars. NASCAR has a history of keeping the winner but docking points/money. I think if the penalties were stiffer for car "issues" there would be less cheating. I'm a long time Mark Martin fan, just don't care for crybaby Jack. There are way too many rules and technicalities nowadays, but if NASCAR is gonna have it that way, they should stick to it. Their case by case rulings (read that inconsistancies) feed favoritism.

It is a known fact, by leaving the floor section over the oil tank loose. That this causes the car to suck down to the track and reduces the pressur under the vehicle. making it handle better. Personally, I don't care who does it. They ought to loose the win and points.

Kudos on being a Martin fan, I think of him, Dale Jarrett, Elliot Sadler, Micheal Waltrip, and Kenny Schrader as being some of the Classiest guys in Nascar. As for Jack, I think that he does have a few legit gripes with Nascar. In 03 Kennseth wins the Championship only winning 1 race but being consistent. Everyone complains and the next year we get the Chase, so then in 05 Jack gets all of his cars in the Chase and eveyone complains that multi car teams aren't fair. So what does Nascar do, they limit the amount of teams you can own starting in 2010 and who is the only person it affects, Jack Rousch. Now wouldn't you be a little upset by those things. I think if anything Nascar should have said 3 teams was the limit and make it affect more owners.

NASCAR changes it's rules often, they claim, to make things fair. I think "the chase" point format has absolutely ruined the points race. To have 5 teams as Rousch does, is like trying to "buy" the championship. Single car teams would make competition better, and money would "talk" a lot less.

with all the changeing that nascar has done. in the last 3 to 4 years it's not the same anymore.it was once a great sport and they are loseing fans . everywhere and if one of the brand name teams dont win they make up more rules.
