do NOT rev your motor on Main Street.
You need to visit the Iron Horse salloon, on US 1 north of Daytona Beach.
You probably should see the Cole Slaw wrestling at the Cabbage Patch Bar.
CR 415 (Tomoka farms road) West of Daytona.
The Last Resort bar....US 1...south of Daytona.
The vacinity of Bruce Rossmeyer's destination Daytona... 2 miles north of the Iron Horse.
Don't worry about seeing everything......you won't.
You first time here? Jump in....get your feet wet. Maintain your drinking.
Try not to get stupid.
(Riding through Port Orange? "Arrive on vacation...leave on probation.")
Chuck......(multi year survivor of bike week)

Goto main street and hit all the bars. Dont rev anywhere near main, they write tickets all day( 4 cops on every corner). Cabbage patch, Ironhorse a must see. Figure your budget then add 50%

Ditto to all the above. Froggie's is my end of the night destination on Main Street. For whatever reason, I have more fun there (some of it I can actually talk about).Full Moon Saloon, Dirty Harry's, Gilley's and Boothill are a good time as well. You will not believe all the live musicup and downMain Street.
After you leave Iron Horse, check out Broken Spoke - Friday night there's always a good band.
I don't care what anybody says about Rossmeyer, Destination Daytona is another must! The Saints & Sinners Pub may be small, but I've met a bunch of nice folks waitin' on a drink. They recently opened a sports bar named Hooligan's. Plenty of vendors. He should also have his new music pavilion ready by bike week.
Cabbage Patch is okay. It's worth going to once. It's a little off the beaten path - decent ride to get there. The cole slaw wrestling can be entertaining...
Don't miss the Rat's Hole bike show on the boardwalk. Also, Harley sets up in the Oceanfront Center not too far from the boardwalk.
Another gem is Hooter's across from the speedway. They used to have organized burn-outs in their parking lot with cops actually overseeing it... The International Motorcycle Show is just across the street, outside of the speedway.
Cruise A1A and Tomoka State park while you're there. Both nice rides (for Florida).
Above all else have fun and be safe!... and like the others said - birng lots of cash!!!

You'll find plenty to see and do at Bike Week. If you like to ride, go up the beach onA1A to Flagler Beach, cut inland through the pine forests and potato fields to Hastings, and ride 13 up the east side of the St. Johns River. Cut off on 16 and return through St. Augustine. Do that and you'll be able to tell folks back home about the real Florida. Enjoy.

Watch the damn Q tips and blue hairs who live there and have no regard or idea that bikes are there. They will turn in front of you or just run you down. Watch out for the azzhats who ride drunk. There is absolutely no tolerance for rapping the throttle downtown. Just don't do it. Remember it's a large rally and some bikes will be stolen. DO the things you can to avoid having yours in that number. There will be traffic ( imagine what you think it will be and multiply x 10). Rossmeyers will be both hopping and unbelievably crowded. Above all, just watch out for other drivers and riders, remember that high amounts of money are made by local governemnts by giving bikers tickets for anything and everything. Be cool with the cops, they'll be cool with you. push em and they'll give you a room for the night at the graybar hotel
In short, enjoy the rally be be realistic in your actions.
Ride safe
