I've come into a bunch of brit bikes mostly in baskets.
In with all this stuff is a flathead HD
Is there somewhere I can look up the motor numbers to tell model and year?

Default RE: Flathead numbers

what are the numbers? the first two are the year, the next letters are the model, the lastnumbers are the seial number.the belly numbers should match the first two are the year.for example 42wla5062 is a 1942 army model.earlier models could be u,ul fl etc. meaning big twins differant c.i. or compression.
