1. Floorboard Extenders

One of the best and cheapest mods you can do is to get floorboard extenders. They're cheap and make a lot of difference comfort wise, especially with the longer trips you may take. More specifically they help to alleviate hip, knee, and ankle stress while riding because the spaces to place your feet are now wider. Also, you won't have to worry about burning your foot on the exhaust pipe any longer.

2. Sansa Clip MP3

This one really makes the radio worthwhile and improves the sound quality despite its small size. The player features expandable memory slots to store tons of music, an FM tuner, and voice recorder to make notes to yourself for later. You may ask why someone would buy this instead of using your phone that already has your music in it? Using this would keep your phone safely stowed away in your pocket or in a side case. In the strange event that the Sansa would come loose and fall it will be an unfortunate incident where you've only lost some music and not your phone with all its' important content.

3. Push Button Gas Lid

With this one mod, you don't have to pull your keys out of the ignition to pump gas for your Harley. Perfect if you're sick of scratching the fuel door with your key ring while trying to get the thing open. The push button is a direct replacement of your stock key lock.

4. Wind Splitter Windshield

The windshield height and style on a motorcycle is a crucial part of enjoyment and safety for the rider. Having the optimum height and style will be different for every rider and riding style. A shorter shield can make the look of the bike sexy and will add a slight flair to it. The shorter design of a wind splitter windshield will kick the air up as it comes at you, so it goes up and over the rider and out to the sides.

5. Grips

Ditching the stock grips is another opportunity for you to personalize your Harley to exactly the way you want it to look and feel. There are tons of designs, variations in materials, and prices to choose from. Pick what feels and looks good to you and you'll never go wrong.
