I can see Harley Incorporating the street fighter styling to the vrod frame ,I see alot of vrod owners mod them this way.As far as comfort goes , i can ride my night rod for around 500 miles and ready for more after a hrs break .

here is a RSD mod

That's exactly right Dirt! I can ride my v-rod a lot longer than my fatboy and get to where I'm going a whole lot faster!

Hopefully I will be able to try my friends out in about 2 weeks and I'll let ya know if it's more comfy than my Sporty :-)

HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHE!
Anything is more comfortable than a SPORTY! (yes! I've owned one.)
The V-Rod from 07 on (wide rear tire and SEAT) are far more comfortable than most Harleys! (I've owned 6, both Dyna, Vrod and several softails.)

I know what you mean. I have an 04 "A." I start having trouble with my feet at 120. I don't have that trouble with my Ultra. It won't do 120. I had it indicate 108 once though. (LOL)

As far as comfort is concerned, the V-Rod is a good day bike. Don't compare it to an Electra-Glide for comfort, but if you have friends with a Ducati or a ZX10 or any sport bike, ask them to go on a 300 mile round trip some Saturday. They will more than likely decline.

The V-Rod is a damn fine and very unique machine. The only people who "bash" it are the ones who don't own one.

BULLSHIT!

At least for a big guy like me, I could not make it comfortable, I tried for 4 years! If I could have made it better I'd still have it! 300 miles and I was done, ready to get off it!

I heard it will be a Touring version, called Vrod Muscle Glide (where is that "hides behind sofa" icon?)

I foresee by 2016 a watercooled electraglide with a vrod style motor. I also forsee a sportster or buell sized watercooled HD. Unless the crack in my crystal ball is getting worse.

2010. Vrsca no comfort issues. If I were to do long highway rides would add air shocks.
