Default What's a deal on a VRSC?

I just bought my 06 Nightrod. Picked it up from an individual that was in a bind for $9500. Bike only has 6100miles on it. I'm wondering if the resale value isn't there or if its the economy, or both. Regardless......I really like the bike and it was much cheaper than a new one. I feel like its not even broke in yet.

I got my 06 Nightrod last February from a dealer for a little more with fewer miles, like new, mostly stock with a little addded chrome. Sounds to me like you did well in your purchase. It is a great bike, I might add.

Glad to here these Post I just Picked up one for $7200 with 6450 miles. I jumped on it as I thought it was to good of a Deal to let pass. I was given it was just owned by a Little old lady , Well it was maybe not little but a lady none the less. I picked it off E-bay from a Car Dealership that took it in on a Trade.
Can't wait to get it on the road this week. i had to pick it up out of state but not that bad of a drive.

You pay a premium on 07 and later models because of the 240mm rear tire, 5 gal tank & 1250cc motor

Night Rods have the 180mm rear...

You pay a premium for 08 and later because they have the larger engine... the 08 Night Rod was the fastest non-CVO production Harley ever made.

Edit:

07s still have the 1130cc engine (you might have gotten confused because you would have bought a new 07 in 06), and conversely, the the 07 AW was the slowest production V-Rod ever built, with the larger frame, 240mm rear, and five gallon tank (making it significantly heavier than the 06), without the advantage of the larger engine they stuck it in for the 08 model year.

Plus the 07 AW had steel fenders and Airbox, not aluminum
