I have an 09 Muscle with Tab slip-ons and a SERT with the stage 1 map loaded. When this bike is cold it hesitates really bad for a mile or two, is there anyway to fix that???? It ran bad when cold even with the stock pipes. Being a fuel injected bike, it should be smooth at all temperatures. Also, there is some slight hesitation when cruising around 3000 rpm 30-40 mph. Any suggestations would be greatly appreciated!

What's a "stage 1" map? Was the bike tuned? Or you're using one of the boxed maps that comes with the SERT software?
The bike still gets a "warmup" rich mixture till the bike heats up... so it's not going to run quit right there... the rev limit also drops to 7k till it warms up as well.

The dealer told me they had 2 standard maps for the Muscle, the stock map and a Stage 1 map which is used with new exhaust and air intake. The bike should be able to run halfway decent even in the warm up stage though, I don't have this problem with my Yamaha.

If you're talking about a "flash" that wouldn't require a SERT, but would just re-flash the ECU, like they have for the twinkies, they haven't had that for the Revo in years.
If what you're talking about is a SERT map, the SERT software comes with one 1250 Revo map that is for a high-flow air filter. My guess is that if you didn't pay for a dino, you either got that map loaded, or something that dealership put together as their standard high-flow/exhaust map.

hi guys i have TAB slipons, TAB tuner and K&N filter on my Muscle - I actually had to slightly lean up my first 2 dials (0-3000rpm, 3000 - 6000rpm) as i was running slightly too rich. Now the throttle response i awesome regardless of warm or cold..

I just sent you a pm. Anyway, This is my 2nd vrod, my first one was an 06 A. I now have the 2010 muscle with the SE super tuner. With my experience with the REVO motor you have to let it warm up, it doent like to run cold. As far as I know all of them have a flat spot around 2500-3000 rpms. You also have to fine tune the SERT, or get it Dynoed.
