can you do an install on a mustang seat . after about 150 miles my left cheek is numb
JR
Yes, But after market seats are a little more due to having to drill out and remove all the pop rivets but we do replace them and the seat will look like it did when you got it new. Most places just glue the covers back on which looks like crap to me, we actually put the cover back on the right way.

I found out yesterday that the deal I got for the impact gel pads won't be available next month so next week will be the last week we run this special...sorry. Thanks to everyone who has taken advantage so far, we have been swamped with orders for them. If you want to take advantage of this special give us a call 866-550-SEAT(7328) you do not have to schedule the seat for next week, just schedule to have it done. It can be from now to next Jan-Feb, I just need to get the order in next week for the pads and after that the pricing goes back to the normal pricing.
I heard that gel is cold in the winter and hot in the summer?
NO BS, I had a guy tell me one he heard that memory foam causes cancer...LOL
Seriously though, if it is properly installed there are no issues with heat or cold temps. We counter sink the gel pad into the stock seat foam then cover the entire seat with a 1/2 inch layer of foam. We have had countless seats come in that people have just taken the cover off and laid a gel pad on top of the stock foam and put the cover back on. If you install a gel pad like this it will take the blunt of heat or cold, its like when you get in your car on a hot summer day, the seat will be hotter than hell. Inserting the gel pad into the stock foam then covering it with the half inch layer of foam is like insulating your house, there is a barrier between the gel pad so the heat does not get to the gel pad as bad and with the foam being pourous it helps disperse the heat. I have been using a Impact Gel pad for 9 months now and have never had any heat or cold issues. I think the hottest temp I have been in this past year was around 99 degrees and the bike sat out in the sun with me not on it for over two hours and this morning has been the coldest so far with the temp being 35 degrees this morning. Like I mentioned before, if properly installed you won't have any issues.
